These seminars may also be run in conjunction with other schools at various locations around Melbourne and are a highly recommended addition to your training program.
Martin Wheeler Seminar March 2012
Inner City Systema is proud to annouce that we are hosting world renowned Systema Instructor Martin Wheeler for a two day intensive seminar here in Melbourne! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in martial arts, combat and/or self defence to learn from one of the worlds great instructors. Martins schedule is extremely busy so to have this opportunity to have him in Australia to teach is definitely not to be missed!

About Martin
Born in England, Martin walked into his first training hall at the age of nine. One of his friends wanted to try a Judo class at the local YMCA in his home town of Paignton. His friends left. Martin stayed.
At age sixteen he began training in the Hawaiian street fighting system of Ed Parker’s Karate, at the ‘doorman’s academy’ in the same town. Named because many of the local bouncers trained there he was introduced to Kenpo in bare knuckle sparring sessions. A year later he began working at the local clubs as a bouncer, a profession he continued for the next ten years in clubs from London to the U.S.
Twenty years later, after studying Boxing, Judo, Thai-boxing and Filipino weapons fighting Martin met Vladimir Vasiliev, the former Russian Special Operative demonstrating Systema at a seminar and knew he had witnessed something strange, unique and absolutely lethal in any environment.
Martin now teaches his highly effective combat solutions to civilians, SWAT and Special Operations Units around the globe.

Brendon Zettler Seminar June 2011
Last year we had the privilege of hosting Senior Instructor Mr Brendon Zettler from Toronto HQ for a 2 x day seminar here in Melbourne.
Brendon covered a wide range of topics ranging from striking and absorbtion through to breath and knifework. A fantastic time was had by all who attended!
